About

What Can We Do Together?

Mission

Reawaken Mind Body Awareness & Personal Intuition.

My goal is to join you on your journey to reawaken mind body awareness  and personal intuition, to better inform your choices for Dharma [life purpose], Artha [abundance],  Kama [relationships] and Moksha [liberation from self-limiting conditioning].

I think of us as explorers together, using a scientific method of inquiry:  from your experiences and ideas, I form hypotheses that we test together, to come to a clearer understanding of what you’ve been experiencing and where you want to go from here.

Process

Exploring Full Mind Body State.

Our initial session will be an exploration of your full mind body state, including your goals for counselling and your recent history.  Subsequently, we’ll use mindfulness practices, artistic tools, simple yoga asanas and pranayama within sessions, and I often give outside resources and ‘homework’ to try between sessions.

While we work together, you’ll be invited as my guest to my weekly meditation group sessions online.

Accomplishments

A Little More About Me

I completed my master’s degree at McGill with an 3.7 gpa, as a single mother of two young daughters living on welfare.  I only share that here to show the depth of my belief that anything can be accomplished.  In 2009 I received the Justine Harris Award for excellence in counselling from the Quebec Counselling Association.

I was also the first person in this province to earn two Instructor certifications from the Chopra Center.

Counsellor, Meditation Coach, Motivational Speaker, Chopra Center University Instructor, author, member of the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association, the Quebec Counselling Association and the International Association of Yoga Therapists, past member of the Ordre des Conseillers et Conseillieres d’Orientation du Quebec.

I have the joy of being a grandmother, and am the proud mother of two wonderful young women.  My husband Alain & I live on the west island, and I for more than 25 years I worked at the Lester B. Pearson School Board as a Guidance Counsellor, before retiring to follow this passion.
